How we deliver shipping containers
Tilt-Bed Truck
Tilt-Bed Truck Container Delivery Information
Our tilt-bed truck service is designed to safely and efficiently transport smaller shipping containers, especially in areas with limited access. This option works well for residential sites, construction zones, inner-city locations, and mountain roads.
Container Size and Delivery Capacity
The tilt-bed truck can deliver:
Containers up to 24 feet in length, or
A combination of smaller units, such as two 10ft containers
Because of its compact design, this is the smallest truck in our fleet. In addition, it offers the tightest turning radius, which makes it ideal for difficult or narrow delivery locations.
How Tilt-Bed Delivery Works
The process is simple and efficient. First, the truck backs into the designated placement area. Next, the bed tilts, allowing the container to slide safely off the rear of the truck. Finally, the container is positioned directly into its final location without the need for additional lifting equipment.
Site Requirements for Safe Delivery
To ensure a smooth delivery, a minimum of 60 feet of straight-line clearance is required. This space allows the truck to safely maneuver and complete the placement process.
In addition, customers should check for:
Overhead obstacles such as wires or branches
Narrow access points or tight corners
Ground stability at the drop-off location
If there are any concerns, we recommend notifying us in advance so we can review the delivery route.
Door Orientation Options
When placing your order, we will ask how you would like the container doors positioned. You may choose:
Doors facing the truck cab, or
Doors facing the rear of the truck
This detail is important because it determines the final on-site orientation of the container.
Rental Container Delivery and Pickup
All rental storage containers 24ft and smaller are delivered and picked up using tilt-bed trucks. Therefore, this method ensures fast, reliable, and cost-effective service for smaller container units.
If needed, our team can also inspect your site in advance to confirm safe and efficient delivery conditions.
Tilt-Bed Truck w/ Trailer
Tilt-Bed Truck and Trailer Container Delivery
Our tilt-bed truck and trailer delivery service allows us to transport larger shipping containers safely and efficiently. This option is ideal for commercial, industrial, and large-scale storage projects that require containers up to 45 feet in length.
Container Size and Delivery Capacity
The tilt-bed truck and trailer combination can deliver:
Containers up to 45ft in length, or
Multiple smaller units, such as:
2 × 20ft containers
4 × 10ft containers
Because of its larger capacity, this delivery method is best suited for bulk container transport and larger job sites.
How Tilt-Bed Delivery Works
The process is straightforward and designed for safe placement. First, the truck and trailer back into the designated drop-off location. Next, the trailer bed tilts, allowing the container to slide off smoothly. Finally, the container is positioned directly into its final location without additional lifting equipment.
Site Requirements for Delivery
To ensure safe and efficient delivery, a minimum of 100 feet of straight-line clearance is required. This space allows the truck and trailer to maneuver properly and complete the unloading process.
In addition, customers should ensure the site is clear of:
Overhead obstacles such as power lines or tree branches
Tight corners or restricted access points
Uneven or unstable ground conditions
If there are any concerns about site access, we recommend notifying us in advance so we can review the delivery route.
Door Orientation Options
When scheduling your shipment, we will confirm your preferred container door direction. You may choose:
Doors facing the truck cab, or
Doors facing the rear of the truck
This ensures the container is placed exactly as needed at your site.
Delivery Planning and Safety Check
We encourage customers to share any access or clearance concerns before Shipping. In addition, our team can review the route in advance to confirm that the container can be delivered safely and efficiently.
By planning ahead, we help ensure a smooth shipping process with no delays or complications.
Flatbed Truck
Flatbed Truck Container Delivery
Our flatbed truck service is designed for long-distance transportation of shipping containers. This option is commonly used for deliveries that are more than 200 miles from one of our yard locations.
Container Size and Transport Capacity
The flatbed truck can transport containers up to:
45ft in length
Because of its design, the flatbed truck is ideal for safe and efficient long-distance hauling of large containers.
Important Delivery Requirements
Unlike tilt-bed shipping, the flatbed truck cannot place containers on the ground. Therefore, customers must arrange offloading equipment at the delivery site.
You will need one of the following:
Forklift
Crane
Other suitable lifting machinery
This equipment is required to safely unload the container upon arrival.
When Flatbed Delivery Is Used
Flatbed shipping is typically selected when:
The shipping distance exceeds 200 miles from our yard
On-site placement equipment is already available
Customers require efficient long-distance transport
As a result, this option helps reduce transport complexity for remote or regional deliveries.
Site Access and Clearance Requirements
To ensure a smooth delivery, customers should confirm that the site has adequate access and clearance for the truck and unloading equipment. In addition, it is important to check for:
Overhead obstacles such as wires or trees
Narrow entry points or restricted access roads
Ground stability for unloading operations
If there are any concerns, we recommend informing us in advance so we can review the route and shipping conditions.
Delivery Planning and Safety Review
We are happy to review your shipping route ahead of time. This allows us to confirm that the container can be transported safely and efficiently without delays.
Proper planning ensures a smooth delivery process and helps avoid any on-site issues during unloading.
Crane Truck
Crane Truck Container Delivery
Our crane truck delivery service provides a flexible and efficient solution for placing shipping containers in locations that require precise positioning. This option is ideal when standard delivery methods are not suitable due to site restrictions or placement challenges.
Container Size and Transport Capacity
The crane truck can deliver:
-
Containers up to 24ft in length, or
-
Multiple smaller containers in a single trip
In addition, the truck can tow a trailer when delivering multiple 20ft or smaller containers to the same location.
Built-In Hydraulic Crane System
A hydraulic crane is mounted between the cab and the truck deck. Because of this design, the operator can safely load and offload containers without requiring additional equipment on-site.
Under standard conditions, the crane can place a 20ft container up to approximately 25 feet away from the truck.
When Crane Delivery Is the Best Option
Crane truck shipping is recommended when containers need to be:
-
Placed over fences or barriers
-
Positioned on elevated platforms
-
Stacked on top of another container
-
Installed with high precision in tight or restricted spaces
As a result, this method offers maximum flexibility for complex delivery environments.
Certified and Safe Operations
All crane deliveries are handled by a certified crane operator to ensure safe and controlled placement. Furthermore, each job follows strict safety guidelines to protect both the site and the container during installation.
Site Evaluation and Delivery Approval
Please note that all crane placements are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This allows us to confirm:
-
Site accessibility
-
Safe lifting conditions
-
Proper placement feasibility
In addition, we may request site photos or details to ensure the delivery can be completed safely and efficiently.
By evaluating each project carefully, we help guarantee accurate placement and a smooth delivery process.
