Reliable Container Delivery Service

At Blue Heaven Containers, we make delivery container delivery easy.

How we deliver shipping containers

Tilt-Bed Truck

The Tilt-Bed truck can deliver containers up to 24’ long, or a combination of smaller units (e.g., 2 × 10’ containers). This is the smallest truck in our delivery fleet and has the tightest turning radius, making it ideal for inner-city deliveries, mountain roads, and sites with limited access.

For delivery, the truck backs into position where the container will be placed. The bed is tilted, and the container is rolled off the rear of the truck into its final position. A minimum of 60 feet of straight-line clearance is required to safely complete the delivery.

When placing your order, we will ask whether you prefer the container doors to face the cab or the rear of the truck, as this determines the final door orientation on-site.

Please inform us of any clearance concerns at the delivery location or along the route. We are happy to review the route in advance if needed. All rental storage containers 24’ and smaller are delivered and picked up using Tilt-Bed trucks.

Tilt-Bed Truck w/ Trailer

The Tilt-Bed truck and trailer combination can deliver containers up to 45’ in length, or multiple smaller units (e.g., 2 × 20’ containers or 4 × 10’ containers). A minimum of 100 feet of straight-line clearance is required to safely complete this delivery.

For placement, the truck backs into position at the desired drop location. The trailer bed is then tilted, and the container is rolled off the rear of the trailer into its final position.

When scheduling delivery, we will ask whether you prefer the container doors to face the cab or the rear of the truck. This determines the final door orientation at the delivery site.

Please advise us of any clearance concerns at the delivery location or along the route. We are happy to review the route in advance to confirm the delivery can be completed safely.

Flatbed Truck

The Flatbed truck can deliver containers up to 45’ in length. Unlike the Tilt-Bed delivery option, flatbed trucks do not have the ability to place containers on the ground.

Offloading equipment, such as a forklift, crane, or other suitable lifting machinery, must be provided on-site to complete delivery. This delivery method is typically selected when the delivery location is more than 200 miles from one of our yard locations.

Please inform us of any clearance concerns at the delivery site or along the route. We are happy to review the route in advance to confirm the delivery can be completed safely and efficiently.

Crane Truck

The Crane Truck can deliver containers up to 24’ in length, or multiple smaller units. It can also tow a trailer when delivering multiple 20’ (or smaller) containers to the same location.

A hydraulic crane is mounted between the cab and the deck, allowing the operator to load and offload containers without additional site equipment. Under standard conditions, the crane can place a 20’ container approximately 25’ away from the truck.

All crane deliveries are performed by a certified crane operator. This delivery method is ideal when the container must be:

  • Placed over a fence

  • Positioned on an elevated platform

  • Stacked on top of another container

  • Installed with high placement precision

Please note that all crane placements are evaluated on a case-by-case basis to confirm feasibility and safety.
